Rice Pore Control Cleansing Oil

I love cleansing oils, and this one is rich. It has a thicker consistency, yet it is not sticky and removes all my makeup easily. It has a slight smell to it that I don't like, but it's not overpowering. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is great, doesn't irritate the skin, and is also gentle on the skin.

Using an oil cleanser is new to me, so my experience and comparisons here are limited to this product only, but from my experience so far, it'll be part of my routine now! It goes on very smooth, and wasn't a super bubbly lather, but seemed to cleanse well. I think I'll try using a soft cloth next time as just rinsing with water and my hands didn't seem to get everything off. I did follow up with my usual cleanser afterwards and before doing any of my moisturizers, my skin already felt like it had moisturizer on from this. My hands felt softer as well. I'll see how I like it as I use it more - I have combination skin so don't need extra moisture or oil on some spots, so hopefully that doesn't cause any negative side affects since I like how it makes my skin feel otherwise. It has a nice, light, citrus-y scent to it. For the $27ish price tag but how long it will likely last (1-2 pumps is plenty), it's a fair deal. So far, so good!

I have used this product for three days and do feel that it is effective in helping clean my pores. I tend to have larger pores around my nose area and look for products to help keep them clear. I think the thing I would want customers to realize is that this is just one step in your facial care routine. The instructions state that, after this product is used, you need to follow with a facial cleanser. After doing that, I felt that I had lost the hydrating benefits of the product. I am not fond of the smell of the product – it smells too “oily” in my opinion. However, I will continue to use it as one step in my facial care routine; followed by my normal moisturizing cleanser.

I like this cleansing oil! It came with the nozzle/spout broken off, but I can still get product out so it's not a huge deal. I tend to be picky about cleansing oils because I feel like a lot of them leave an uncomfortable residue even after rinsing. This one rinses clean, though, and makes my skin feel soft and ready for the next step in my routine. I always use cleansing oils as the first step in a double cleanse and go in with face wash afterward.
