For daily cleansing: take an appropriate amount of product, lather, and gently apply to a wet face. Massage lightly, then rinse off with lukewarm water. For use as a mask: apply a thick layer to a dry face. Leave on for 1 minute, then rinse off gently.

I'm obsessed with the results this cleanser has left on my face. I wish I could use it every day, but I don't want to damage my skin, so I limit myself to using it three or four times a week. It doesn't irritate me, and it doesn't leave me feeling dry after washing.
Personally, I loved the texture and the gentle smell, it left my skin hydrated and very soft.
This review is for the "FABYOU Rice Mask Cleanser". This cleanser was made in Korea and ships in a cardboard display box. There is a seal over the neck of the tube but not around the cap. There is a manufacture date of 20241030 and an expiry of 20271029 stamped on the bottom of the box, so it's good for about 35 months from when I received it. The consistency of the cleanser is very thick and not uniform, a bit on the sludgey side. The smell is also off-putting, like fermented rice or maybe an uncoated cheeto. There isn't much lather when used as a cleanser but it did rinse easily and left my skin feeling clean. After drying, my face felt hydrated and not dried out like with some other face washes. Overall, I liked using it but the smell and texture were a bit odd compared to other products.
While I like this cleanser because it’s extra hydrating, I’m not sure it’s the best for my oily, acne-prone skin. It’s very thick and moisturizing, and you can even let it sit for 1 minute as a mask. The only thing is that my skin never feels “squeaky clean,” almost like I still feel oily in my pores. I always double-wash, but it doesn’t seem to help. Over the past week I’ve been using it, I’ve gotten some new breakouts (after having clear skin for a couple months). No bueno!No fragrance. Doesn’t really suds up and get bubbly. I think it’ll be ok for those with normal or dry skin types! The currently Black Friday price of $10ish seems like a great deal! I wouldn’t pay retail for it…..
I have such a jumble of product bottles on my shower shelf that the prospect of applying a facial cleanser and mask prior to getting into the shower, and thereby saving one more bottle jammed on the overflowing shelf, was what appealed to me about the FABYOU Rice Mask Cleanser. My mature skin felt hydrated after using the mask technique, and I didn’t experience any dryness or irritation as I have had with some products in the past. Unlike a clay based mask, this creamy product washed off pretty easily and left a silky feeling behind. Because I used it dry, it took a bit more than the pea sized amount that was recommended, but there is a generous amount in this tube and I anticipate it’ll last a while. I’m really glad I gave it a try.
